How to connect Category 6 network modules? Keystone Jack

Nowadays, with the continuous updating of the network, the transmission rate of Category 5e has become popular. With the transmission rates of Category 6, Category 6e, Category 7 and even Category 8, they are also constantly on the agenda. So how do we use the Category 6 network module?

 

When choosing to use a Category 6 network module, you must first determine whether the network cable is shielded or unshielded. If you choose a Category 6 shielded network cable, you can choose a Category 6 shielded network module, as shown below:

This network module is very popular and is a non-punch network module, so it is very convenient to install the wiring. First, prepare the following tools: Category 6 module, wire stripper, and wire cutter. Steps:

1. Use a wire stripper to cut off the outer sheath of the network cable

2. Use pliers to cut off the anti-drawing wire and cross frame inside the network cable

3. Put the dust cover into the network cable

4. Put the network cable into the dust cover slot according to the T568A/T568B sequence

5. Cut off the excess wire outside the dust cover

6. The completed dust cover slot is shown in the figure

7. Install the pre-finished dust cover on the module, paying attention to the direction of the dust cover slot

8. Fasten the protective covers on both sides, put in the cable ties and tighten them.
